The contour is built into the saddle pad; when it is pulled up into the gullet it will remain in that position and not work down to apply pressure across the wither. The contour and the vent holes allow for good airflow. The 100% All Natural Wool Felt inserts are made from a high quality, high density wool and are needled versus pressed during the felting process. The removable inserts are offered in different thickness: 1/2″ inch for the round backed or overweight horses and our most versatile 3/4″ inch.
