British DPM Field Shirt

An icon in surplus-wear, this is the British DPM Field Shirt. Like the US Military's M85 Woodland camo, British DPM had a very long service history in many military organizations around the world, particularly in countries that were formerly British colonies. DPM can be traced all the way back to the Denison smock used by British commandos in the 1940s. Early patterns continued to be used for some field uniforms until it was more widely adopted in 1968. Until 2016, DPM was the standard camo pattern used by the British Armed Forces, and is still used today in some countries. The field shirts mechanical design also has a long history with only minor changes being applied over its service, but the phrase "If it aint broke, don't fix it" certainly comes to mind. Eventually, mil-contract companies and the like made their own hand-warming pouches, which are, to this very day, perpetually out of stock due to their popularity. With our new manufacturing contacts in Ukraine, and with their certain expertise on the cold, we decided to get some made for ourselves. The result is a very durable pouch that can and will go with you just about everywhere as soon as the temp starts with '3' or below. It has "T" shaped straps for wearing on MOLLE battle belts, a Velcro flap for sandwiching between a placard on a plate carrier, and of course a waist strap if you just want to wear it fanny-pack style for any non-tactically demanding outdoor situations. IDEA Chest Rig

A classic example of an idea that was born spur-of-the-moment in the meeting room and escaped. The proposition was simple, "What if we made the DIY IDEA Rig from Escape from Tarkov but made it not suck?" A few months later and the realization that you can't get the official Tarkov rig anymore and here we are. What we did different was start from scratch but keep the soul of the IDEA rig intact — It's the same poly composite tarp fabric as a certain swedish furniture store's iconic totes (but far thicker and sturdier), and the rig carries the classic motifs right over from the game. Then, we moved on to improvements. The silhouette of our rig is inspired by the more contemporary "Chicom" style webbings on the market with its octagonal base panel and 4 mag cell configurations. The OG was much larger, more awkward, and with no magazine retention. The mag cells snugly carry standard capacity mags from AR & AKM platforms with ease, and anything similar in size to those will work too. The shock cord retention was much needed as the original rig had almost comically loose pouches, and we added extra-large tabs to move the shock cord easily even with the use of thick gloves. The pouches have added reinforcement with our custom-run "IDEA" webbing nylon for added durability. Lastly, the nylon for the shoulder harness and back strap is extra-wide and more comfortable than this wacky rig has any right to be. One size fits most here, we based it off measurements of our best-selling surplus & new production chest rigs. The result is something so high quality we can barely laugh at its hilarious looks. It's actually comfortable and functional, not just a joke piece. And at a price that matches some canvas "Chicoms" on the market, we've achieved Slavic perfection... Gorka K2 Partizan Mountain Suit

Issued widely for decades, the Gorka (Горка) or "little mountain" is a favorite among Russian and ex-Soviet bloc forces. It is a tough three season suit which excels at shrugging off heavy use and rough conditions. Over the last three years, we've worked to bring the Gorka into the 21st century—resulting in two distinct lines of mountain suit. Originally designed for Russia's mountain troops, the Gorka concept spread rapidly. Its full coverage, generous cut, and high mobility won it quick and lasting adoption around the world. However, like many pieces of Russian military technology the Gorka had a neglect problem. After its introduction in the Soviet-Afghan war, the Gorka was never substantially modernized. Over the years Russian manufacturers made minor tweaks and updated camouflages, but the core design of the Gorka was left unchanged. 40 years is a long time in military technology, so in 2018 we introduced a suite of upgrades we called the "Gorka K."The K2 features Russian inspired patterning, Russian pocketing, and a simpler design with less moving parts. Overall, a much better fit & flexibility than the originals without tarnishing the iconic looks of the original mountain suit. With over half a decade of making Gorkas in the books with a highly experienced manufacturer in Russia, operations in making the suits later migrated next door to Uzbekistan, where the supply of materials can freely go in & out without that Russian Interference that the US Government cares so deeply about.
