This extended travel CV Axle Assembly was designed for the rigorous abuse that Duramax owners put their trucks through. This axle allows for a full 47° of articulation versus the 23° that the factory axle allows, making it perfect for leveled and lifted applications. The thermoplastic elastomer boots offer better flex fatigue characteristics, exceptional tear resistance, protection against water, and are less susceptible to temperature fluctuations. The upgraded cages, races, and bearings allow for smooth operation even at the highest degree of articulation unlike it's competitors. This is achieved by using an 8 bearing joint versus the factory 3 bearing joint found in most other options on the market. CV Axle Spacers: You will still need to run them if your truck currently has them installed. You will need a 34mm Socket for CV axle nut removal. Don't forget to throw on some flashy DmaxStore Valve Stem Caps while under the truck! Install Instructions Replaces Part# 22813485 Warranty: DmaxStore CV axles come with a Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. If a failure occurs, Dmaxstore will replace the failed part only once it has been received at our facility. Shipping costs are not included under the warranty. Some standard wear is not covered.
