Using a fine lambswool yarn (finer than Merino wool), we partnered with a small knitting mill in Texas for this next evolution. The fiber comes from South Africa and is processed, spun, and dyed by a 157 year old mill in Kinross, Scotland. Our caps are seamlessly knit, and neatly finished with our signature Best Made X-stitch on a grosgrain ribbon. Relative to past iterations of The Cap of Courage, we can confidently say this version only raises the bar. The lambswool fiber is exceptionally soft (comparable to cashmere), warm, breathable, and durable. The construction, fit, and comfort are as good as they’ve ever been.
