The Dutch M1953 canvas field pants were designed for durability and functionality during the post-WWII period. They are made of heavy-duty canvas material, making them rugged and suitable for various outdoor and combat conditions. These pants feature a high waist, reinforced knees, and large cargo pockets, providing ample storage and ease of movement for soldiers. They were widely used by the Dutch military throughout the Cold War era, particularly in harsh field conditions due to their robustness and practicality. Some pairs will be newer, from the 80s to 90s. These are made of a slightly different canvas fabric. These pants utilize an adjustable waist. The first waist measurement in this listing corresponds to their waist size when totally relaxed. The second is their waist size when fully buttoned up.
